Here Son Just in Time and Daughter Itsy Bitsy Pocono's

As of Summer 2008 - I am sad to announce that the original pack of Eagle Beagles has passed away.  Please read below.  They are all sorely missed.

"Birdie" daughter of Lady Pocono's, came to us as a small bundle of joy. She was apart of my very first litter. Birdie was 1 of 6. Birdie was my best friend, my teacher and my little partner in everything I did. A perfect show dog - with enough points to make the Top 10 !!!. She walked across the rainbow bridge to beagle heaven, where there is an endless supply of bones and kibble, on New Year's Eve 2004. I miss her greatly and although, new puppies come to fill my heart with joy, I still morn the loss of my best friend.

"Justy" Just in Time, brother to Birdie and son of Lady Pocono's.  Justy gave his all in everything he did.  He was a lover, and such a strong beagle guy.  Justy gave his all till the very end.  Justy was not ready to part from this earth, but due to his owner turning his back on him, it stressed out poor Justy, and there was nothing other than to love him even as he passed away alone, in his kennel.  Justy shared his last breath with me, and for that I am truely greatful.

"Happy" Sir Happy One, brother to Birdie and another son of Lady Pocono's, left us in 2008.  Happy was my father's beagle.  Happy was my father's world. When my father broke his neck, Happy was able to visit him in rehab along with my father's pet rabbit, "Bopsy".  Happy - had a happy happy life at Eagle Beagles, always bringing up the tail end.  My father and our family miss him greatly!

"Tiger" Tiger's Rampage, a beagle bought from a puppy mill in Halifax, PA, passed away in the winter of 2008.  Tiger was the best. He was named after the now scandelous Tiger Wood's, but he was purchased at the height of Tiger's career.  Tiger has been the only food aggressive beagle I have ever had.  We feel this was due in part to the fact that he had to fight for food as a puppy to survive, and was bit by an older male dog thus scarring him forever. No amount of training stopped this behavior.  I feel it is true, they never forget. Tiger was diagnosed with cancer in 2007 - and even with monthly trips to the vet, he was still over come with his disease which took his life.  I am heartbroken without my "little man".  He too is truelly missed.

"Durango" My Little Durango, passed in the Fall of 2008.  Durango passed away for unknown reasons.  She was a speedy little hunter, but gentle never to hurt anything.  Durango was a kennel mate to Splash our Harrier, and often would sleep with Splash in the same kennel.  They were mates.  Durango was stubborn in learning to house train, but when she was with Splash we didn't have to worry, our big dog kept her on track. Splash and the rest of us miss her spunky attitude.

"Junior", Just Like Justy - son of Just in Time passed from us in 2008 as well.  We are unsure why Jr passed, the vet is unsure too.  Perhaps it was from a broken heart as seems to have been loosing his kennel mates left and right.  Unfortunately that is what occurs when you have an "elderly" pack.

I know my friends are looking down on me from heaven!  Keep safe everyone till I can join you.  I will love you all always!
